Cancellation MLF2024

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you about the cancellation of MoonLightFight 2024.

Over the past few months, the entire team has been working continuously to organize the 2024 edition. Unfortunately, in the last few days and hours, due to the current situation and the weather forecast for the next few days, we have had to realize that it is impossible to hold the event this year.

The heavy snow and persistent rain could jeopardize the infrastructure and therefore the safety of each and every one of us.

Entry fee:

Despite point 3 of our competition regulations, the organizing committee has decided to offer each participant the following 2 options:

  1. a refund of the entry fee
  2. your entry fee as a donation towards the new generation skiers in the Saas Valley

The new generation of skiers in the Saas Valley depend on partners and events like ours to finance their training and fulfil their dreams. This is why the MoonLightFight was launched 5 years ago.

Despite this year's cancellation, the small financial reserves of our association are sufficient to cover the costs already incurred, but unfortunately not enough to make a payout to the new generation of skiers in the Saas Valley. However, should you decide to donate your entry fee for this year's participation, we will transfer the entire amount 1:1 to the new generation of skiers in the Saas Valley.

With this option, the organizing committee hopes to be able to pay out an amount even though no event is being held.

If you would like to have your entry fee refunded, please contact the organizing committee by e-mail at the following address: info@moonlightfight.ch, by 15 April 2024 at the latest.

The following information is required:

  • Ticket-ID
  • First name
  • Surname
  • IBAN for the refund

If you would like to donate your entry fee, you do not need to do anything else and the organizing committee will take care of the donation on your behalf.

We would like to thank the more than 130 participants who have registered for the 2024 edition. We would also like to thank everyone for understanding the current situation and look forward to seeing you at MoonLightFight 2025 on Easter Sunday, 20 April 2025.
